Alianza por la Solidaridad has launched in Spain 61 vacancies for volunteers with different profiles, willing to participate in humanitarian and social action tasks in eight different countries during periods ranging from one month to 18 months. This call is part of the European project called “European citizens active in response to humanitarian challenges (VOL4AID)” which the Spanish NGO in the European Union leads and is part of the initiative EU Aid Volunteers Initiative.
The aim of this call is to complement humanitarian aid operations carried out by different NGOs and foundations in developing countries in which they have ongoing projects, namely Colombia, Ecuador, Haiti, Senegal, Guatemala, Bolivia, Lebanon, Cambodia.
The volunteer vacancies offered are for juniors and seniors, with a duration of 1, 2, 6, 12 or 18 months and in areas such as finance, communication, human resources, climate change, gender, project monitoring, means of survival, resilience building, nutrition, social protection, disaster risk prevention, sensitization and education, organizational development, and so on.
The project will cover travel costs, accommodation, visas, insurance and compulsory vaccinations. Likewise, the people selected will receive a monthly payment to cover the basic necessities and local transport during the deployment. During their journey, all participants will have the same working hours as the local teams.
