"Migrant women, women with a voice", a framed initiative in a project of education for citizenship Global Solidarity Alliance and funded by the Generalitat Valenciana was born in may 2018. This project had a goal clear: promote the transformation of the discourse, representation and the participation of migrants and racialized women in the Valencian country. An intervention which could denounce violence that cross them was, in summary, to launch tools against patriarchy and racism that could be useful to those affected according to your demands and needs, and add value to their everyday resistances.

This initiative has laid the first foundations for a group with its own entity: a year later, Women with voice is an independent collective and with a political approach that goes beyond its initial purpose. All this has been possible thanks to the commitment of a group of women from different backgrounds, ages, and interests, with different ideological positions, but with a common goal: a step forward to make visible, as political subjects, to the women who they suffer from the impact of racist and misogynistic structures that intersect in their bodies.

Throughout the project called the society to reflect on its institutions, attitudes, and behaviors. Uncomfortable questions that are intended to contribute to dismantling the network of daily and systemic violence standard to which face thousands of women every day in our territory. Each of these actions has been a learning opportunity and growth personal and collective, a confirmation that it is urgent that the migrant and racialized women lead anti-racist and feminist movements to change the structures that the they violate. They are women with a voice, no one can speak for them. Listen, then, if we want to transform society, and thus to act as true allied.
